Events Officer

Hobart based role | Part Time (0.4 FTE) | Ongoing position | SCHADS Level 5 | Approx $67k pa Pro Rata

Do you love it when a plan comes together? Can you juggle tasks with one hand, whilst dotting ‘i’s and crossing ‘t’s with the other?

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and hard-working Events Officer, whose intuition and knack for making magic lives in harmony with their fondness for scheduling and stakeholder registers!

For two days a week, you will ‘go hard’ with our team of high performers, working alongside them but with autonomy as you focus on exciting events projects like the Tasmanian Volunteering Awards, the annual Volunteering Tasmania Symposium, and National Volunteer Week.

As any great event planner knows, producing a great outcome isn’t always easy! But you’ll be welcomed into an organisation that sees staff as whole people, who are encouraged and supported to grow personally and professionally. And you will have the unique and valuable opportunity to facilitate the only state-wide volunteering awards ceremony in Tasmania!

Interested? Before you apply, read the Position Description here. Applicants are strongly encouraged to ask questions about the role and the team – we love a chat! Call Bonnie Tuttle, Deputy CEO on 6231 5550 or 0439 032 499

Please stick to two A4 pages (plus a CV) addressing who you are, and why you are the best person for the job and our team, and email your application to BonnieT@volunteeringtas.org.au by 9am, Monday 27 November
