Volunteering Tasmania has developed the Volunteer Management Review (VMR) to assist volunteer-involving organisations in improving their volunteer management.
It is an external review process, run by VT, that uses the National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not For Profit Organisations as a framework to highlight where good volunteer management practices are taking place and identify areas for further improvement. It’s a beneficial process for volunteer programs of all scales and at all stages of development and is run in a friendly, constructive and consultative manner.
Volunteering Tasmania will provide a Review Officer to come to you anywhere in the state and meet with your organisation’s representatives to discuss your current volunteer management system. The Review Officer will work with you to recognise what your organisation is doing well, where improvements can be made and where gaps may exist, as well as provide support, give advice and suggest ideas on ways to make your volunteer management system more robust and accountable.
Volunteering Tasmania will provide a detailed Review Report of the process including recommendations under each of the National Standards, as well as providing resources and ongoing support to assist in any implementation of changes.
