State of Volunteering: Tasmania 2010
In 2010, Volunteering Tasmania released the inaugural biennial State of Volunteering: Tasmania Report. This report provided the first ever snapshot of what volunteering in Tasmania looks like.
In a region-wide frame of reference the State of Volunteering: Tasmania 2010 Report (SOVR 2010) is a unique piece of research in Australia. It captures local issues and challenges, and analyses the evolution of Tasmania’s volunteering sector.
This report highlights the motivations of volunteers, pathways to volunteering and the experiences of volunteers. It also examines the people, practices and resources that make up the leadership and the management of volunteering in Tasmania.
