Position Vacant – Community Engagement Officer, North West Tasmania (Paid Role)

We are looking for a superstar representative for Volunteering Tasmania who has a passion for the North West and community development.

You will provide a quality support service to existing and potential volunteers and Volunteer Involving Organisations.  With minimum supervision, you will speak to individuals or groups of people about the organisation, deliver referrals to volunteer roles and promote the benefits of volunteering.

It will be up to you to think about ways you can interact with new and existing stakeholders to make this happen! You will enjoy facilitating meetings and coordinating workshops and Pop Up events. You will engage with the local community by providing information sessions, attending events and promoting referral services. Experience working in the not for profit environment or similar role, and understanding of the volunteering sector is desirable, but not essential.

A Drivers Licence, a National Police Check and a Working with Vulnerable People registration is essential.
