Seeking Support: Volunteer leadership in Tasmania – a research study

You are invited to attend a focus group on  Volunteer Leadership in Tasmania…

The focus groups will be collecting the insights, experiences, and ideas of people who lead and manage volunteers in (unpaid workers) Tasmania.

These focus groups will explore questions such as:

• What is unique about leading and managing volunteers?
• What are the challenges? What are the opportunities?
• What does successful volunteer leadership/management look like?
• How could leaders/managers of volunteers be better supported or developed?

A primary aim of the Volunteer Leadership in Tasmania study is to inform future efforts to support and develop current and future leaders and managers of volunteers.

If you or others within your organisation currently lead or manages volunteers, we would love to hear from you.

If you are unable to attend a focus group (see dates and times below), or would rather share your thoughts via a one-on-one conversation, we can arrange a phone interview at a time that suits you.

In the link below there is an  Information Sheet with more details of the study and a Consent Form which you can complete and return if you would like to participate.

Focus groups will be conducted as follows:

 Burnie: 22 November 2019, 2-4pm
 Hobart: 6 December 2019, 2-4pm
