As the Peak body for volunteering in Tasmania, we are here to support volunteers, volunteer-involving organisations and the Tasmanian Government as we work together to ensure a vibrant and active volunteer sector for the state. Through our members we represent over 50,000 Tasmanians who give their time to volunteering.
For the State Budget 2020-21, we have outlined the key priorities and are asking the Tasmanian Government for a strategic investment so that we can support, sustain and safeguard the sector now and into the future.
Our budget priorities were informed by our recent research – The State of Volunteering Report 2019 and consultation with our Members.
We are delighted to present our 2020-21 Budget Priority Statement. If you have any questions or feedback, as always please feel free to reach out to us.
