Volunteering Tasmania has a state office based in Hobart, and operates a part-time satellite office in Burnie, and regular ‘pop-up’ desks around the state.

We have maintained Employer of Choice status since 2011.

We have a small team of passionate and dedicated people, all working to make a positive change to our community through the facilitation of effective volunteering.

Community Events Officer – closing date April 8 2019

This position will have responsibility for the event management of Volunteering Tasmania’s signature public events. It will also deliver community education regarding volunteer engagement and represent Volunteering Tasmania at community events and forums.

Project Officer – Safeguarding Volunteering – closing date April 8 2019

We are seeking a Project Officer for three years for our Safeguarding Volunteering in Tasmania project. This project will work with local Tasmanian communities to ensure they have the volunteers to meet their current and future needs, and to develop strategies and frameworks to plan to meet their future needs. Once this framework is tested and embedded in communities it will be disseminated across all local government areas in Tasmania.
